What exactly do I get from LookMatch?

A downloadable 33³ .cube LUT built from your two frames, plus a written explanation of the grade: a named look, how it behaves in highlights, midtones, and shadows, an ordered DaVinci Resolve node chain, the equivalent manual controls for Resolve and Lightroom, and a short list of watch-outs.

Is the LUT generated by AI?

No. The LUT itself comes from deterministic color math — both frames are sampled in perceptual Lab color space and the measured difference is baked into the cube. AI is used only for the written explanation layer that describes what the grade is doing. If that explanation fails, the LUT is still yours to download.

Which software does the .cube file work in?

Anything that accepts standard .cube LUTs, including DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Final Cut Pro. The look page includes install instructions for each.

How much does a look cost?

A look costs 3 credits, charged only when it succeeds. Credits are bought in packs rather than as a subscription, and new accounts start with free credits.

Will it match any two images perfectly?

No, and it does not claim to. A LUT can move color and tone, but it cannot change lighting, lens, or exposure. The closer your frame is to the reference in exposure and lighting direction, the closer the match. Every look ships with watch-outs for exactly this reason.

Are my looks private?

Yes. Looks are private to your account and are not published to Explore. Only standard analysis reports can optionally be made public.

How is this different from Compare?

Compare explains how two frames differ across camera, lighting, composition, and color, and gives you a plan to shoot the difference. LookMatch focuses purely on color and tone, and gives you a file that applies the difference to your footage.
